In a forgotten valley in the late 1980s, Jack and his friends search for meaning in their lives. Boredom gnaws at them, drugs keep them on their feet, and love, obsessive and elusive, slips through their fingers. A brief interlude in Asia offers a glimpse of escape, but the illusion collapses and the opening closes again.​​
